Web Designer Volunteer will help to maintain and shape our website through the creation of page layouts and page features.  

Responsibilities:

• Updating of the existing website on a regular basis

• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site;

• Include videos hosted on YouTube; pictures, graphics, and special events;

• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases;

• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs;

• Work with Operations Coordinator to match visual design intent.

Requirements:

• Punctual and accurate communicator, responsive to email, telephone calls and direct communication from staff

• Self-motivated with a positive attitude

• Able to dedicate at least 20 hours a month to start

• Some Experience required

• Wix Platform Experience a plus

Reading for the Soul is a program that was created to help reduce isolation for older adults. Many people enjoy having stories read to them and our hope is that this program will bring this pleasure to older adults, as well as to anyone else who enjoys being read to.
