To brighten the lives of clients in the community, we delivered 120 handwritten Valentine's Day cards and chocolate treats. 

We ran an intergenerational program in November 2020 and created 422 cards decorated by students from Georgina, Ontario, which we delivered to Veterans in long-term care in the Toronto and York Region.

In July 2020, to provide support during the pandemic, we provided 60 handwritten cards to older adults within the community.

Since April 2020, we have been creating word searches to share weekly or monthly with older adults in retirement homes, long-term care homes, and the community.  If you are interested in receiving word searches from our extensive collection, please contact us at info@sswgresponse.com. We have been reaching out to the older adults in our communities to supply them with a hygiene kit.  

Reading for the Soul is a program that was created to help reduce isolation for older adults. Many people enjoy having stories read to them and our hope is that this program will bring this pleasure to older adults, as well as to anyone else who enjoys being read to. The recorded stories will be available on YouTube.
